Kick of the 30th Anniversary of the Atlantic Film Festival by celebrating 25 years of partnership between the Atlantic Film Festival Association and Telefilm Canada's Atlantic Regional Office.

With so many films to choose from, New Waterford Girl was selected as an iconic Atlantic Canadian film - an honest and comedic story of a young woman dreaming of a bigger world outside her small-town community. This film is packed with regional flavour that has earned it some major critical acclaim and a place in the hearts and minds of Canadians from coast to coast.
