TICKETS NOW ON SALE!

Director Michael McGowan (Saint Ralph, One Week) has hit the Canadian cinematic motherlode with Score! The Hockey Musical, a fast-moving, lighthearted and utterly irresistible cross between the hit TV series Glee and the enduring 1976 Paul Newman flick Slap Shot.

Newcomer Noah Reid plays a home-schooled 17-year-old who becomes a Sidney Crosby-like hockey sensation overnight, all to a string of catchy tunes and disarmingly goofy dance routines. Armed with a succession of great cameos (Walter Gretzky, Theo Fleury) and amazing supporting players (singers Mark Jordan and Olivia Newton-John as Noah's overprotective parents, Nova Scotia-born Stephen McHattie as the team owner), Score! The Hockey Musical is simply the greatest movie ever made about Canada's National Obsession.

The Fine Print

Rush Tickets

Rush tickets are available for all films - including those for which all advance tickets are sold out - 15 minutes prior to show time. Rush ticket lines are formed at each theatre, approximately one hour prior to showtime. If you are waiting to purchase tickets in a rush line, please have your payment and any discount cards ready (including student IDs). Please note that ALL rush lines are CASH ONLY. Tickets are subject to availability; there is no guaranteed number of rush tickets available.

Will Call

Will Call (pre-purchased ticket pick-up) is located at the Atlantic Film Festival Box Office during regular box office hours. At Empire Theatres Park Lane, 45 minutes before each screening, Will Call is available on the lower level of Park Lane Mall, next to the Empire Theatres Box Office. All pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at Will Call. Voucher holders may also exchange their vouchers for tickets at Will Call.

Pass Holders

Badge and pass holders with barcodes on their badge / pass are advised to arrive up to 45 minutes, and no later than 15 minutes, before the screening. Badge and pass holders may proceed to the theatre doors and must have their badge / pass scanned to gain entry to the theatre. A generous number of seats are held for pass holders for each screening, and priority is given to them until that allotment has been reached-or 15 minutes prior to screening time, at which time Rush Tickets become available to the public. Badges and passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Late Comers

All Festival screenings will start on time. There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets or Festival passes. All ticket holders must be at the theatre 15 minutes prior to the start of the film. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to latecomers. Seats are not guaranteed past showtime.

Back-to-Back Screenings

All theatres must empty between screenings to provide for cleaning. However, ticket holders may certainly wait outside the theatre without leaving the venue so they don't have to re-enter a ticket line.

Program Changes

All programs are subject to change. There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets or Festival passes, unless a screening is cancelled by the Festival. In the event that a screening is cancelled, the Festival will refund or exchange the ticket.
