Below is a quick list of all Galas at the 29th Atlantic Film Festival. Gala tickets provide access to both film screening and after reception. Tickets sell out quickly for our Gala events so be sure to pick up your ticket early. Registered Atlantic Film Festival Delegates can attend Galas with their Delegate Pass (Opening, Atlantic and Telefilm gala require a pre-ordered ticket).

Rogers Presents... A Series of Special Presentations

This year's Rogers Presents offers eight, "must-see" including: Bright Star directed by Jane Campion, Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, A Shine of Rainbows from director Vic Sarin, Pedro Almodovar's Broken Embraces, Micmacs directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, The Invention of Lying from director Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson, and Antichrist directed by Lars Von Trier.

Dalhousie Retrospective: Wim Wenders

One of this year's Strategic Partners co-production countries at the Festival is Germany, and no German filmmaker has a more international outlook than Wim Wenders. Starting Thursday, September 17, the Dalhousie Art Gallery opens it's doors to two of Wenders' most influential films along groundbreaking documentaries and aclaimed cinematic collaborations.
