alFresco filmFesto is back for 2009 with a new location and look!
Located at the end of the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, overlooking the Halifax Harbour (about 500 meters from our old location in front of the Electropolis building, the new alFresco brings with it a brand new inflatable screen - the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada.

The Atlantic Film Festival Association is proud to present the 2009 line-up of summer outdoor movie fun for the whole family! Whatever kind of movie experience you’re craving, we will be sure to dish it up this season!
Gates open at 8:00 PM with show time at 9:00 PM or dusk. Admission is a $5 donation to support this community event. Come enjoy the Firday night sky on Halifax's waterfront, if it's raining we will screen the film the following night, same time, same place! AlFresco-goers are asked to bring your own blanket or lawn chair.
