The 2010 alFresco filmFesto lineup has been revealed! This year film fans can come together on the Halifax Waterfront each Friday evening to get nostalgic while watching crowd-favorite classic films, hand picked by the Atlantic Film Festival programmers.

About alFresco filmFesto

Every summer alFresco filmFesto is one of the most widely anticipated outdoor community events in the Halifax community calendar. Each year classic films are chosen for audiences of all ages, to bring the community together at the Halifax waterfront to experience unique screenings reminiscent of the drive-in theatres of yesterday, as the countdown to the Atlantic Film Festival begins.

After eight solid years, alFresco filmFesto moved location from the outside wall of the Electropolis Building (now under renovation) to the end of the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk thanks to the generous donation of a massive inflatable screen by Nova Scotia Power (NSPI). Now, alFresco is on the move, taking screenings to events such as HRM Bike Week, Bedford Days and Sackville, Nova Scotia's Patriot Days. Keep on the lookout, you never know where alFresco might pop-up.
