Experience Outdoor Movie Fun in the Summer!
The annual alFresco filmFesto happens every summer with outdoor movie fun for the whole family. Featuring classic films, this open-air cinema is sure to please. Complete with concessions and contests, it has a unique festival atmosphere that you have to experience for yourself.
alFresco screenings take place at the Tall Ships Quay, Halifax Waterfront in late July through August, and will be projected on the wall of the Electropolis building. Gates open at 8:00 PM with show time at 9:00 PM or dusk. Admission is a $5 donation to support this community event.
alFresco-goers are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket for seating. In the case of heavy rain, screenings will be postponed until the next evening. Any rain date notices will be posted here by 3:00 PM on the day of the postponed screening.
