2016 Script Development Program - Call for Feature Film Outlines

The Atlantic Film Festival is looking for the best and most talented writers from the Atlantic region to participate in our annual Script Development Program. Presented by Telefilm Canada & The Harold Greenberg Fund, this program offers a unique opportunity for Atlantic Canadian writers to develop their feature film ideas from an outline into a treatment and finally into a rough first draft.

The Atlantic Film Festival Association is currently accepting applications for the position of Program Assistant. Reporting to the Festival’s Program Administrator, the Program Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks relating to film submissions, invitations and subsequent communications and materials delivery, along with other assigned tasks. ViewFinders Youth Film Competition - Call for Entry

The ViewFinders: Atlantic Film Festival for Youth has just announced its 13th annual Youth Film Competition for Atlantic Canadians ages 18 and under. Presented by DHX Media, the Youth Film Competition is a video competition where participants can submit short films, all of which must be under five minutes long. Top entries are eligible for prizes that will be awarded at a special red carpet screening at Scotiabank Theatre Halifax on Saturday, June 4.
