NSTU PSA Series

THE SCOOP
With support from the Nova Scotia Teachers Union, ViewFinders presents the NSTU PSA Series--part of a year-round series of ViewFinders Productions that act as a launch pad for young talent, connecting them with the film industry.
The Series takes students and teachers through a five-day intensive workshop during March Break. During the workshop, participants are mentored by top Nova Scotia film industry professionals to create a 30-second public service announcements (PSAs).
FOR STUDENTS
- Gain hands on experience in various film industry professions.
- Develop filmmaking skills through story development, lighting, acting, sound and editing.
- Submit your finished product for screening during NSTU’s back to school television campaign.
FINE PRINT
- It's FREE and open to Nova Scotian students and teachers attending/teaching in public high school.
- Finalists receive two complimentary tickets to the PSA Video Project at the 11th ViewFinders.
- No previous experience is needed, however, an interest in film and filmmaking is a plus.
- Camp takes place during Spring break, March 12-16, 2012.
- Space is limited.
