Synopsis
There is a strange tree in the yard at Munin Farm, half living and half dead. Magda Munin waters it by hand, ritually, every day. When Magda dies, her estranged daughters, Signe and Keirsten, return to the farm to receive their inheritance, but find they must search for the bearer bonds that Magda has hidden.

Stuck on the isolated farmstead with Shoe, the brain-damaged and erratic hired man, their search uncovers a secret and malevolent force put in motion generations ago.
