ViewFinders recognizes that school budgets are limited. In order to assist students in making it to ViewFinders we offer bus funding through the Empire Theatres Bus Program. For school seeking assistance in purchasing tickets please apply to the Adopt-A-Class Program.
Empire Theatres Bus Program
Empire Theatres provides funds to subsidize some of the cost of bussing teachers and classes to the ViewFinders School Program. Funds are limited and will be divided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Empire Theatres has been a proud supporter of ViewFinders since 2002, and is very pleased to help students and their educators attend this fantastic festival through the Empire Theatres Bus Program.
Educators who attend the Teachers' Launch Meeting get the first chance to reserve Empire Theatres Bus Program funding for schools in and outside of HRM.
Please Note:
Once the invoice for transportation arrives at the school a copy of the invoice MUST be faxed to 902-422-4006 (Attention: Empire Theatres Bus Program c/o Atlantic Film Festival) before any bus funding is reimbursed to the school
BUS FUNDING WILL BE AWARDED ONLY IF A FAX OF THE ACTUAL INVOICE FOR TRANSPORTATION IS RECEIVED BY MAY 30, 2008.
If the faxed invoice is not received by May 30, 2008 – the bus funding amount may be revoked.
Adopt-A-Class Program
The Adopt-A-Class program pairs sponsors with classes needing a little extra assistance to take part in ViewFinders. If you would like to apply to the Adopt-A-Class program please contact Julie Glaser, ViewFinders Director.
